1999 - Humble Beginnings:
A step back in time from 20 years ago when typewriters and faxes were modern office equipment!
Have a look at our very first office and warehouse where we commenced operations from 'back then'. A few changes along the way and of course the typewriter has since retired. And yes, you guessed it, this was indeed a ‘backyard beginning.’ A small shed, a trailer and lots of aspiration -and Remax is up and running!
Our First (proper) Premises:
Building our first major premises on Elizabeth Street...
The building works gave us a challenge as part of the building itself was heritage listed but not in great condition. We persevered and completed an office block and production / storage warehouse. We had many happy years here and Remax grew and employed many staff while at these premises.
Getting trucks in and out of the premises proved to be a logistical challenge as the business grew. Offices were extended, and a second level added within a few years. The warehouse was extended from boundary to boundary and increased in height. In the end we simply ran out of space to grow, so the choice was made to relocate again.
2017 to today - The New Premises and Offices:
We completed and moved into our fantastic new factory located at 5 Davidson O'Malley Court in 2017. Our production space increased to over 1700sqm and new open-plan Offices were set up on the second floor.
We have since added a fair few new faces to the team both in production and in the office and continually look for new ways to provide the best doorway and barrier systems to our customers. Our first 20 years have been an exciting journey of success and we’re very optimistic that the next 20 years will be even better!
We know that while we build fantastic solutions for our customers doorway requirements, the greatest thing we can continue to build is trust.
